Remote pharmacist coverage, tailored to the operational realities of each setting.

SPS supports four kinds of pharmacy operations. The shifts we cover, the systems we work in, and the way we measure success look different in each one.

Hospital & health systems

Hospitals are the core of our practice. Inpatient and outpatient medication-order verification, after-hours clinical support, and overnight (graveyard-shift) coverage make up the majority of the work we do. SPS pharmacists work as a remote extension of your in-house pharmacy team — covering the shifts that are hardest to staff in-house, so your licensed FTEs can focus on bedside and clinical work.

Retail pharmacies

Retail pharmacy teams reach out when their in-store pharmacist cannot keep up with verification volume — during flu season, vaccine campaigns, central-fill outages, or planned PTO. SPS handles remote verification and workflow support for those windows. Our goal is to extend the in-store pharmacist, not replace them.

Specialty & mail-order pharmacies

Specialty and mail-order operations live and die by throughput and accuracy. SPS provides verification and workflow support that helps these pharmacies hold service levels during scale-up, hiring gaps, and high-volume launches — without compromising the care continuity their patients depend on.

Disaster & crisis response

Government & disaster response

When a hurricane, outbreak, or other large-scale emergency disrupts local pharmacy operations, SPS provides pre-positioned remote pharmacist capacity so verification coverage continues. We work with hospital systems, state agencies, and emergency-response partners to plan this kind of surge support before it is needed, not during it.
